Explanations

Meet the Teacher

The school is open in the morning for Meet the Teacher day. Teachers and administrators will be around most of the day to answer your questions.

A good time for the children to re-acquaint themselves with schoolmates and classroom

Open House

Parents: Read their journals. Help them celebrate their progress.

Students: Explain to your parents where you sit and what you do during the day. Show them some of the neatest things you did in the last month or so.

Halloween Parade

A festival in the parking lot. Lots of opportunities for picture taking. Much bustle, and a day to look forward to for the students.

Christmas Program

A remarkable performance every year. The whole school takes part in this choral rendition celebrating the holday season. A fitting tribute!

SAT Testing

Several days of serious concentration. The school always ranks far above median. 6th grade Garden School students commonly test are a couple grade levels above their peers.
